2. Overview

This website is a purely static site. No cookies are set, no analytics or tracking tools are used, no forms are used and no external fonts or third-party content are loaded. Only your language choice is stored locally in your browser (see no. 3). Personal data is processed only to the extent described below.

3. Storing your language choice (localStorage)

This website is available in German, English and Russian. When you choose a language using the language switcher or close the language hint, this choice (only the code “de”, “en” or “ru”) is saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage), so that the hint about another language version is not shown again on every page view.

This storage is technically necessary to provide the function you requested. It is not a cookie and not tracking: the value stays exclusively on your device, is not transmitted to me, the host or any third party, and is not analysed. The language switch uses a small script of my own without any external translation service. You can delete the entry at any time by clearing the site data or local storage in your browser settings. Without JavaScript, the language switch works through ordinary links and nothing is stored.

4. Hosting and server log files

When you visit the website, the host’s server automatically records information that your browser transmits (server log files). This includes in particular:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• page or file requested and amount of data transferred
• HTTP status code
• referrer URL (previously visited page)
• browser and operating system used

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free provision, stability and security of the website (e.g. defending against attacks). The log files are stored only for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised, unless longer retention is required to investigate a security incident.

5. Contact by email

If you send me an email, I process your email address, your name (if provided) and the content of your message in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the enquiry relates to a contract or a collaboration (e.g. a partnership), and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed to handle the enquiry and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) apply.

6. Links to TikTok and other sites

This website contains simple links to my TikTok profile. TikTok content is not embedded; merely visiting this website does not transmit any data to TikTok. Only when you click a link do you leave this website. The respective operator is responsible for data processing on TikTok (in the EU: TikTok Technology Limited, Ireland). You can find information on this in TikTok’s privacy policy.

7. Sales and payment processing via Digistore24

Digital products on this website (e.g. PDF e-books of the “KI im Alltag” series) are sold by Digistore24 GmbH, St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim, Germany. Digistore24 acts as reseller and your contractual partner: it sells the product in its own name, processes the payment, handles VAT and issues the invoice. When you click “Buy as PDF (Digistore24)”, you are redirected to Digistore24’s order page, where Digistore24 processes the data you enter (name, email, address/country, payment and order data) under its own responsibility. I only receive the order data needed for support (name, email, product, amount) – never card details. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. Details: Digistore24 privacy policy. 8. Your rights

Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

• access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR)
